Who is Rebel Entertainment?
Rebel Entertainment is a full-service entertainment company based in Western South Dakota, serving Western South Dakota and Eastern Wyoming. I bring high-energy, professional DJ and entertainment services to weddings, bars, and private events.
How much experience do you have?
While Rebel Entertainment is a newer brand, it’s backed by over 35 years of DJ experience, performing for all kinds of crowds and events.
What areas do you serve?
I primarily serve Western South Dakota and Eastern Wyoming. For events outside this area, contact me with your details and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
What types of events do you do?
I regularly work weddings, bar events, private parties, corporate events, karaoke nights, and game nights.
Services & Packages
What services do you offer?
I offer DJ services, karaoke, trivia, Friendly Feud, music bingo, 360 photo booth, mobile bar/satellite bar, live bands (through my network), event management support, and recreation game rentals.
Do you have wedding packages?
Yes. Wedding packages typically range from 5–8 hours of coverage and usually fall between $1,000 and $1,800 depending on what you need.
Can I customize a package?
Yes. If one of the standard packages doesn’t fit, I can build a custom, à la carte package around your event and budget.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. I provide professional EV speakers, Pioneer DJ gear, and Chauvet lighting, so you don’t need to supply AV equipment unless your venue requires it.
Do you offer a 360 photo booth and rentals?
Yes. I offer a 360 photo booth and am expanding event rentals like tables, chairs, and décor. If you don’t see something listed, ask—I may already have it or be able to source it.
Booking & Planning
How do I book you?
Reach out through the website or email with your event details. Once we confirm availability, I’ll send an agreement. Your date is reserved when the deposit is paid.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings, 6–12 months ahead is best. Bars and smaller events can often be booked closer to the date, depending on availability.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is required to secure your date. If multiple people ask about the same date, the first deposit received gets the booking.
How do we plan the music?
We’ll work together on your timeline and playlist. You can share must-play and do-not-play songs, and I’ll fill in the rest based on your crowd and event flow.
Do you take song requests from guests?
Yes, as long as they fit your preferences and are appropriate for the event. If you prefer no requests, I’ll follow that.
Pricing & Payments
How much do you charge?
Pricing depends on event type, length, and services. As a general guide:
- Weddings: about $1,000–$1,800 for 5–8 hours
- Karaoke/Trivia/Game nights: about $350–$500 for 3–4 hours
Custom quotes are available for bundled services.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. After the deposit, we can set up scheduled payments leading up to your event.
What is your cancellation policy?
Details are in your agreement, but in general, deposits are non-refundable because they reserve your date. I’ll work with you as much as possible if plans change.
Logistics & Reliability
When do you arrive and how long does setup take?
I typically arrive 1–2 hours before start time to set up and sound-check so everything is ready before guests arrive.
What do you need from the venue?
Reliable power and enough space for the DJ booth, speakers, and lighting. For mobile bar or 360 photo booth setups, we’ll confirm space and power needs with your venue in advance.
Can you handle remote or outdoor locations?
Yes. I often work in locations where Wi-Fi and power can be tricky. We’ll plan around the specific site so everything runs smoothly.
What happens if equipment fails?
I perform regular checks on all gear and have contingency plans in place, including options to replace or source backup equipment and coordinate with other DJs if needed.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. Rebel Entertainment carries liability insurance, and proof can be provided to your venue if needed.
Weddings
Will you act as MC at our wedding?
Yes. I can handle MC duties—announcements, introductions, and coordinating with your other vendors—to keep your day running smoothly.
Can you provide ceremony sound and microphones?
Yes. I can provide microphones and music for your ceremony, including wireless mics for your officiant and readers.
How many hours do most couples book?
Most weddings work best with 5–8 hours of coverage, depending on whether you need ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception.
